Mindful Fridays offers a unique blend of mind-body connection!

Join me Gabi @moovyoga and special guests musicians for an evening of relaxation and rejuvenation under the full moon.

Start with a cacao ceremony to open your heart, followed by a guided meditation to calm your mind, and finish with a yoga session to stretch and strengthen your body.

Connect with like-minded individuals in a peaceful and welcoming environment.

During the ceremony the schedule will include :

  • An opening circle, commune with the sacred medicine of Cacao

  • Meditation

  • Yoga

  • Singing

  • Closing circle

Timings: 18:30 - 20:30

Please arrive on time or 10 minutes early, latecomers will not be allowed in to avoid disrupting the sacred flow of the ceremony space and missing out on important information shared. I appreciate your consideration.

What is Ceremonial Cacao?

Commercial chocolate has been stripped of its medicinal health benefits. However ceremonial cacao is 100% cacao straight from the bean which is ground down into what is known as the ‘cacao liquor'. Ceremonial grade cacao contains all the medicinal benefits as well as providing us with the opportunity to connect to the spirt of mama cacao.

Some of the benefits are:

  1. Enhanced Mood: Cacao contains compounds like phenylethylamine, which can promote feelings of euphoria and happiness, potentially boosting mood and reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.

  2. Increased Focus and Alertness: The presence of theobromine and caffeine in cacao can help improve mental clarity, focus, and alertness, making it a great choice for enhancing cognitive function.

  3. Heart Health: Cacao is rich in flavonoids, antioxidants that have been linked to improved heart health by lowering blood pressure, improving blood flow, and reducing inflammation.

  4. Improved Energy Levels: The natural stimulants found in cacao, theobromine can provide a gentle energy boost without the crash associated with caffeine in coffee.

What to bring:

✨Yoga mat and a blanket will be provided

✨Wear comfortable clothing for Yoga

Recommended:

✨ Avoid eating a heavy meal for at least 3 hours before the Cacao Ceremony starts and arrive hydrated

✨Come as you are, everyone is welcome.

✨An open mind and heart.

✨No expectation, to allow beautiful insights to unfold naturally instead of being attached to certain outcomes.

✨ An intention for the evening. Remember "Energy flows where intention goes"

✨A bottle of water to drink.

Optional:

✨A journal & a pen.

✨Eye mask

✨Something to add to the alter. Something special to you eg a crystal to charge & take home or some flowers you collect on the way.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please avoid consuming cacao if you are taking SSRI’s - (Cacao releases serotonin, so it works as a mild anti-depressant. When taken with SSRI’s that release serotonin chemically it can lead to serotonin syndrome).

I suggest that pregnant woman and people with heart or high blood pressure medication should avoid it if they are caffeine sensitive. (if your are ok drinking coffee you should be able to drink cacao).
