Gabi Ribeiro - Moov Yoga

Brazilian by birth and a Londoner by heart.

Growing up in Brazil I always did a lot of sport and dance. When I came to to London I was working in a gym reception and my Yoga journey began.

I got hooked up in Yoga as it gave me that sense of connection with myself, body & soul. it might sound hippie but it its a true description of the beginning of my Yoga journey. It felt what I was seeking was seeking me, it started very physical practice for many years - a lot of doing the poses /the asana right.

I love being a generalist in moving the body and along with yoga I still enjoy swimming, running, weightlifting, Brazilian jujitsu, dance, climbing and many other movement forms.

A while ago when I went to India on holiday the spiritual practice began. I started to develop a meditation practice to combine with my mindfulness movement practice.

I have been practicing  Yoga for the past 15 years & teaching for 12 years. My yoga teacher journey began with Yoga London in 2013. Over the years I have studied with many inspirational teachers, such as Mollie Morries, Marcus Veda, Holly Warren, Elena Brower and Sylvia Garcia. In 2023 I finished my 500h Advanced teacher training with Jason Crandell. I practcie Vipanassa Meditation.

My goal is to spread my passion to bring people together to move better and understand their body and mind connection and Cultivating the awareness of mindfulness on the Yoga mat and take them into the day to day life.

My classes are based on Hatha Yoga and it can be soft or strong I work with the elements and the seasons so it all depends on what time of the year it is and the students needs.
